We’ve Got It...
A myth-shattering perspective on ASD.

The father-son journey Jack Michael Parish and I have traveled for the past 15-plus-years has been life changing.
Jack’s autism diagnosis, delivered in February 1996, has inspired our family (individually and collectively) to walk a new path -- one that (we hope) has and will continue to encourage and empower parents and professionals who live and work with this amazing population of children and adults around the world.
My relationship with Jack took a major detour when his mom (Diane) and I divorced in 2000. He lives with her about 600 miles away, which makes our time together sporadic, and sometimes very challenging.
But, thankfully, Jack is healthy and happy. His absence from my day-to-day life has inspired me to take a deep dive into sharing my knowledge and experience with ASD families and educators. This work enables me to stay close to Jack’s spirit, and continues to be very rewarding.
No doubt, you’ll learn more about our family by watching our videos, diving into our “semi-blog,” (which I wish I had more time to regularly update), and reading our book.
Please return often, as we expect to regularly add important information and perspectives about ASD.
